The Department of New York's Career Center is now offering the following courses to: 1-Recently separated veterans and returning members of the Guard and Reserve--- 2-Veterans who are homeless or unemployed 3-Veterans who are underemployed or want to improve their work related skills--- 4-Veterans who want to prepare for a new career or find better jobs---- 5-Active duty personnel who are preparing for life after military service--- Some of the Courses that are available are: a) Career assesment & Exploration b) Skill upgrade Training for Civilian careers that are similar to those in the military. C)Computer training. D)Training for Licenses & Certifications--(Commercial Drivers License---FAA Aircraft Mechanic License---Welding---Precision Measuring. My heart felt thank you to all who sent me get well cards and called to express their concern over my recovery from my recent open heart Surgery.
Your thoughts and prayers played an very important part in my recovery. I am just about fully recovered. Thank you again. I love you all.
